Women x Meta provided the first clear explanation of the blockchain for me. I attended their first Blockchain for Good event. The speakers were informative, innovative, and inspiring. A member of the Women x Meta staff helped me set up my coin base wallet so that I could purchase my first NFT. I knew about bitcoin, but the Women x Meta has expanded my blockchain vocabulary considerably. There has been no one else in the tech space that has made me feel as though the metaverse/blockchain is for me.

SoVonna recently spearheaded an event through her organization Women X Meta where participants had the chance to learn about the community element of marketing NFTs and how NFTs can be used for advancing social good. The list of panelists drew broadly from artists, content creators, and thought leaders in the Web3 space making it a great opportunity to forge connections. Consistent with her ethos of helping people to advance themselves, SoVonna ensured that participants could set up their crypto wallets to hold NFTs on the spot. I have no doubt that as SoVonna continues forging this path into Web3 she will continue doing what she does best – creating bridges that enable the next generation to follow.
